Savings Bank of Danbury Delivers Again!

Bank Employees Support People in Need

DANBURY – The Savings Bank of Danbury has an impressive record of helping people in the community, and this year is no different. Bank employees gathered donations and arranged 53 Thanksgiving fruit baskets that they then delivered to The Salvation Army to help families in need have a happier and healthier holiday.

Salvation Army Danbury Corps Officer, Major Todd Hughes, said, "Every year, the bank does more. We are truly blessed to have such a caring partner support our programs. The bank employees have been doing this for around 10 years now, and every year the number of baskets has increased. You should see how excited families are when we deliver these baskets. They are very thankful!"

Community Development Officer/AVP for the Savings Bank of Danbury, Beth Ann Fetzer, commented, "Fun, creativity, and teamwork all contribute to the success of this project. Our employees are proud to support The Salvation Army and to help local families have a better Thanksgiving."
