The Salvation Army serves at "Connecticut Remembers September 11th Memorial Ceremony".

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services Mobile Feeding Units and officers served and consoled victims and first responders at Ground Zero for six months. We were honored to be a part of the "Connecticut Remembers September 11th Memorial Ceremony" today at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.

As has become tradition, family members of those who lost their lives in the attacks participated in the ceremony, and the names of the 161 victims with ties to Connecticut were read aloud.
