The Salvation Army and Best Cleaners team up once again for Coats for Connecticut
Best Cleaners' eighth annual COATS FOR CONNECTICUT campaign has begun! To get involved, please donate gently-used winter coats and jackets at any of Best Cleaners' 13 locations listed below. Each week, Best Cleaners cleans and delivers all donations to Salvation Army centers and shelters throughout the state, including Hartford, Middletown, Meriden, Bristol, New Britain, New Haven, Bridgeport, New London, and Waterbury.
16,000 coats were collected last year as a direct result of increased efforts by campaign partners Eyewitness News WFSB- 3 and Young's Printing/FastSigns. The value of the donated coats and dry cleaning service combined is an estimated $450,000. Best Cleaners has locations in Berlin, Bristol, Canton, Durham, Farmington, Glastonbury, Middletown, North Haven, Plainville, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, and Windsor and also offers home delivery and pickup in those areas as well as the shoreline communities.
