Salvation Army Officers Attend Legislative Prayer Breakfast in Hartford

HARTFORD – Salvation Army officers attended the Legislative Prayer Breakfast on April 11th at the Connecticut State Capitol. The breakfast was sponsored by Senator Joseph Crisco, Jr., Senator Michael McLachlan, Representative Bruce Morris, Representative Vincent Candelora, and the Capital CT Prayer Network.

Prayers were offered by Pastor Rick McKinnis as well as several other pastors and state representatives. The keynote message was presented by Archbishop Leroy Bailey, Jr. of First Cathedral Church. This gathering gave Salvation Army officers the opportunity to network within the faith community as well as with their local state representatives. This is an annual event, and the first time the Army has participated.
